Electroneum Launches A Simulated Mobile Mining

Electroneum (ETN) is the latest digital currency which can be mined using a smartphone and requires almost no technical know-how or experience. The fact that it can be mined using smartphones makes it a unique type of cryptocurrencies, unlike Bitcoin which need costly hardware and advanced knowledge to mine.

The ETN coin will finally obtain the long-awaited mobile platform mining pool. Nevertheless, the procedure would be computer-generated or simulated mining, since it may not use the processor of a phone for cryptographic work. Instead, it will award the coins depending on the calculation of the power of the processor.

This mining option was made available for users to test users for a few weeks, and the users were also rewarded and had their balances intact afterward.

However, the ETN crypto asset still appears as undiscovered because of low volume trading which dominated the Cryptopia exchange. In spite of the news, ETN market price remains depressed, swinging around $0.07, after December when it reached its peak at about $0.20.

Cryptopia also made headlines on ETN transfers, when the exchange faced hiccups on the trading load that was unexpectedly increased. Electroneum trades in pairs against the DogeCoin and Bitcoin.

ETN was explicitly designed with mobile users in mind; in so doing, it attracts a potential market of about 2.2 billion smartphone users across the world.

Unlike other virtual currencies, Electroneum offers a user-friendly interface which is also beginner-oriented and allows users to flawlessly transfer ETN coins to each other, mine coins and check their balances as well.

As Electroneum gains fame, the project has been fraught by fake Twitter accounts, promising a return of ETN in exchange for sending coins to a specific address. But talking about such scams, many comments are stating that the scheme pays back.

The primary aim of Electroneum project was to create “a British cryptocurrency,” but it encountered hitches on the way and faced a challenge regarding securing agreements with mobile operators. However, although the Android app arrived with some delay, the task for the Electroneum team now would only be to achieve a presence on exchanges.
