“Bitcoin Inventor” Craig Wright Faces A $10 Billion Lawsuit

Craig Wright, the man who made headlines for claiming to be the inventor of Bitcoin and famous for the Satoshi Nkamoto pseudonym of 2016, is now facing a $10 billion lawsuit in Florida.

Wright has been sued by the estate of his deceased co-inventor, business partner and forensic computer expert, Dave Kleiman. The lawsuit is brought forth by Dave’s brother Ira Kleiman represented by the reputable Boies Schiller Flexner LLP law firm.

According to records of the lawsuit filed in Florida District, Wright is alleged to have been involved with the bitcoin along with David Kleiman. However, it doesn’t state that either of the two invented it. Wright and David managed to mine between 550,000 and 1,100,000 bitcoins, and these were held in W&K Info Defense Research LLC.

Wright is making news today facing a $10 billion lawsuit for forgery, mishandlings, and theft against his late partner David. According to records of the court, Write is being accused of leading a scheme against David Kleiman’s estate for many Bitcoins and also specific intellectual property rights linked to the Bitcoin technology.

The suit has provided evidence indicating that Write forged signatures, backdated documents in an attempt to obtain Bitcoin fortune associated with W&K Info Defense Research LLC, a Bitcoin mining and research business which Wright and Kleiman were partners. It provides evidence showing that Wright forged the signature of Kleiman using Otto font type.

Ira Kleiman presented emails showing that Write had admitted to holding 300,000 bitcoins that belonged to Dave Kleiman. Some bitcoin specialists believe that Ira’s claims are firmly founded and think it could be true Wright never owned much of the digital currency.

As the current chief scientist of nChain, it is interesting as people look forward to seeing if the blockchain firm would be affected. Wright’s summons was issued on February 15.

Kleiman died in 2013 following his health condition. His family through Ira Kleiman and Boies Schiller Flexner LLP law firm have launched a lawsuit against Craig Wright. Besides the allegations labeled against by his Kleiman, he might be forced to prove his identity during the proceedings.
